Lets hear it for accountability!

Last year I created an Affirmation ABC  It's unfinished even though I said Phew, its done.. Each page should have had means you are ... and ... like a  added to it. It didn't happen. In fact, even though I was told by a number of people it was great I hated it and put it away. Until two weeks ago. Then I showed it to a new friend and she kindly but firmly kicked my arse about getting it finished. I was galvanised into action.

Now the first stage really is done. Each page has means you are ... and ... like a attached to it. It's been to the photocopy shop and by Monday at 4.00pm when I will meet with my Mastermind group - who stuck with me through the whole process of it being made - I will be able to show them what it looks like as a book. The group is the one reason I have pushed through to get it finished by Monday and not let it hang around longer. The only reason it wont also be ringbound is that its Waitangi day, so Copy Expresso is closed.

What is accountability coaching?

Are you self employed? Do you sometimes struggle to stay on task and do the jobs that you know you need to do?

Take this blog as an example. I decided last year that a blog would be a good way to promote my accountability coaching business. Yet it is only today some eight weeks later that I've created it. Had I declared it as an accountability to my coach I would have got it done weeks ago. Even if it was at the last minute just before the next meeting, I would have done it because I had some one who cared, to 'report' to.

I offer one hour, one to one, accountability coaching sessions for $40 an hour. This is a tax deductible expense for you. If you think you might be interested in working with me we meet and you tell me want you want to achieve. We then sort out what you can achieve and how and we set up accountability.

I am a serial entrepreneur. My last business was Attitude Foods which I sold three years ago. To keep myself on track, I have initiated and led mastermind groups for a number of years. I am also experienced in one on one accountability coaching. I ask good questions that help you come up with the answers that will work for you. I am also full of good ideas and, on Waiheke, can usually come up with someone you can network with to progress what you are doing.

Unlike some other coaches, I am not offering to change your life. (If you want to do that I can give you the name of someone who can help!) I am offering to keep you accountable which means you will keep your business and, if that's where you are floundering, even your personal life on track.
